Daniel Flake  

    Lead guitarist and founder of the band, Dan Flake lays down riffs that hint at influences of Guitar Shorty and Albert Collins. But don’t be too quick to put a label on Dan’s style— he tosses out leads from a mix that some have called "enigmatic" harkening back to his early days of Western Swing. Dan’s been playing for 30 years, including a stint in the 70’s with Country Blue, doing everything from Bob Wills, to Muddy Waters. He’s backed up Nick Gravenites, worked with the Sonoma County Blues Society Band and produced the latest Blue Blazes Album in conjunction with Monkey Business Studios.

Linda Ferro

    Singer/songwriter/keyboardist Linda Ferro has been involved in the North Bay Area music scene for 20 years.  Her passion for performing arts has included private piano and voice instruction, musical directing and composing for school and community theatres, recording project/studio work, and solo and band performance. Having just finished a two-year drive with rock band "My Other Car" (MOC) as a lead vocalist, Linda is now drinking in the energy and soul of the blues, singing and playing her little heart out to move an audience, and continuing to develop her original material.

James Stewart

     Bass guitarist extrodinaire James Stewar lays down the rhyhtmic foundation of the band. James has played in the Bay Area for 35 years and holds down the bottom end for the Sonoma County Blues Society's Core Band on Wed nites at the weekly blues jam.

Sonny Lowe

    For over 30 years Sonny has pleased audiences with his harp and vocals. His musical background includes such diverse styles as country, rock, light jazz, bluegrass, folk, and always his truest love, the blues. Sonny has traveled and played extensively throughout the U.S. and for the last 15 years has resided in Sonoma County. Here in the North Bay, sonny has worked with J.J. Malone, Luther Tucker, Cool Papa, Fast Eddie and the Night Owls, and his Namesake band, Sonny and the Blenders. Sonny is a regular with Blue Blazes and also has a trio called Moodswing.

Dave Gaither

    The driving force behind Blue Blazes has been a professional drummer  for thirty years. He has performed in many venues from the East Coast to California.

Cary Garlofrf

    Cary has been handling percussion in the Sonoma County music scene for 15 yrs + and plays styles ranging from fusion and jazz to blues. Cary works as our backup drummer.
